The Healing Revival Collective was born on the evening of July 15, 2023.
Dead & Company were playing the Saturday show of The Final Tour at Oracle Park in San Francisco, and I was at my dining room table, streaming the show live and having an awakening. I scribbled furiously in my "spiritual travel” journal, trying to capture the vision as it came through me. When I finally set my pen down and looked at what I had written, I saw the first glimpses of what you're reading here today.
Soon after, I gathered my community and shared my vision: to return to a truth I had lost sight of—that healing is not a service to be contained or controlled, but an ever-present possibility that belongs to all of us, within and beyond the therapy room.
I began to reimagine what my work could look like when freed from the walls of isolation—when therapy returns to community, and connection becomes the foundation of care. Over time, I witnessed how gatekeeping within the mental health field narrowed what healing was allowed to be, replacing trust and authenticity with fear and liability. I found myself in quiet (and at times not so quiet) conflict with a system that no longer reflected the values that first called me to this work.
It was from this dissonance that the Healing Revival Collective was born.
Rooted in grassroots wisdom and the spirit of collective celebration, Healing Revival invites a return to the communal roots of healing. It weaves together ethical care with practices that honor the fullness of human experience—from time in nature to ritual, intention, and integration. In doing so, it restores healing to its rightful place: in connection, community, and shared humanity.
Through The Collective, I gather alongside artists, musicians, therapists, spiritual and somatic practitioners, and community members in a shared commitment to reclaim healing as a communal act. Our work restores accessibility, creativity, and connection to the healing process. Together, we help cultivate spaces where people can return to one another…to explore, imagine, and heal in relationship.
